The German Resort Stettiner Haff (opening December 2020) is breaking new ground to meet travel trends and guest expectations not only now, but also in the future.
Individual trips to nearby destinations will continue to be highly popular even after the Corona pandemic. Because more and more people are avoiding long-distance travel, in order to protect the climate and the environment. A cruise or a Shopping Trip to New York is therefore no longer an option for many people.
Short journey, intact nature, regional authenticity and ecologically high-quality accommodations are crucial for vacation planning. All this can be found in places that are still considered an insider tip, such as the fishing village Altwarp on the Szczecin Lagoon with the easternmost port in Germany.
One thing is clear: Most people expect at least the same comfort during their vacation as at home. And therefore they especially appreciate every extra comfort at their vacation destination.
In addition, in our aging societies, there are more and more people with limited mobility, sight or hearing. One should not neglegt this growing target group.
After all, almost a quarter of the EU population is already over 65 years old! And at this age, comfort is of paramount importance. A sofa in great design, from which one hardly comes up however, is thus the wrong choice for this target group.
Universal Design, i.e. accessibility without barriers as yardstick for highest comfort, is however a smart, future-oriented concept.
With the agency gabana, the Resort Stettiner Haff found the ideal partner for clever, accessible and chic universal design already in the planning phase – throughout the entire resort!
Because all guests benefit from the threshold-free entrances, level paths without steps and spacious bathrooms:
The heavy suitcases can be easily rolled up to the wardrobe. Children do not stumble over thresholds. Mommy can help the little ones in the big shower. And the visually impaired grandpa can easily listen to all information about the resort with the speechcode app.
An ingenious element is the height-adjustable worktop in the kitchen:
Daddy won’t have a crooked back, the kids can look into the pots and pans and grandma can sit while slicing vegetables. This works out wonderfully, because the area under the worktop is free for (wheel) chairs.
So nothing stands in the way of a shared cooking experience!
Mass tourism and hotel skyscrapers are increasingly under criticism. The Resort Stettiner Haff in Altwarp therefore offers the exact opposite:
Directly at the sea, surrounded by untouched nature, 8 single and 3 double houses, five apartments and five vacation cottages (Glamping) are laid out spaciously on approximately 18,000 m².
Here, guests feel like in a stylish second home. You can enjoy “your own” spacious house with 2 to 3 bedrooms, your own SPA, sauna, open fireplace and veranda in privacy. And at the same time, you can enjoy all the service comforts of the resort.
Or make friends with the nice neighbors in the bistro, at the beach volleyball court, the beach bar or at the barbecue area.
This concept makes sense!
According to opinion polls, about 70% of those questioned already state, that climate, environmental and species protection is important to them. So there are more and more people, who want to enjoy untouched nature, regional products and unspoilt village life during their vacations. And this without leaving a huge CO² imprint.
Sustainability can be discovered everywhere in the Resort Stettiner Haff: At the regional architectural style with much wood and natural materials, at the bucolic pond landscape, at the own greenhouse for fresh herbs all year round, or at the experience course.
It almost goes without saying that there are also in-house charging stations for E-cars and E-bikes!
